Rain, Rain, Rain...

This week was a rain storm almost the whole week through.. it was esspecialy bad this last satruday.. we leave the house right after lunch and about 5 minutes from leaving we walk right into the eye of the storm, rain was coming down so hard that it actually hurt our heads to walk and the lighting was right over our heads.. we would see the flash and almost immediatly after we would hear the thunder.. it was quite the experince.. but as always here in angola when it rains everything stops... EVERYTHING!! cars, work, energy, and esspecially lessons.. for some reason when it rains no one is able to visit with us so all of our lessons fell through.. but the rain soon stopped and we got to visit with a lot of people and a cool less active.

more this week we got to visit with a member who is being tempted by a foul temptress to not go on a mission.. so we had to sit down with him and get is head on straight.. he's getting all the pre mission temptations.. women, job, family, and schooling.. classic.. but we sat with him nicely told him what he had to do and bore solid testimony.. we could slowly feel his feelings change about it.. just made me think a lot about my situation back at home.. my parents loving and always supporting, brothers for their great examples, sister for her love, great priesthood leaders always telling and showing us the right path.. great friends and their great mothers, and coaches telling us to be great players and even better men off the field.. i was extremely blessed before my mission with so many things in which i am grateful for you all.

We have familia nascimento doing really well, we had their first family night last night, and it was a big time success, they were laughing, giggling and having fun, it was so cool to see them slowly get closer together as they put chirst as the central point to their families.. it was a fun time.

Still doing great with the new job and new comp elder smith.. he helps me big time in the language and many other things so its all cool!

Love
